Michael Nellis

Michael Nellis, a native of Atlanta, is a dedicated plumbing professional with more than 12 years of experience serving homeowners across Metro Atlanta. In Fall 2025, Michael co-founded Dogwood City Plumbing.

His desire to launch his own plumbing company was both a natural progression for his career, and an opportunity to operate a plumbing company according to his vision. A business culture centered on customer care and long-term relationships. The aim of forming Dogwood City Plumbing is to reshape the customer experience—from a purely transactional interaction to a relationship-driven approach. Dogwood City Plumbing provides each customer with a range of thoughtfully tailored solutions designed to meet their unique needs, delivering dependable service and building lasting trust.

Michael’s 12-year plumbing career reflects a deep accumulation of experience gained while working with several highly regarded Atlanta-based companies, including Trinity Mechanical, Randall Lowe Plumbing, Bison Plumbing, and Davis & Sons Plumbing, where he served as lead plumber for more than five years. His professionalism and strong values now shape the culture at Dogwood City Plumbing, setting the standard for every member of the Dogwood City family.

Michael’s approach to customer relationships is grounded in integrity, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to lasting relationships. He treats every customer like family by operating fairly and recommending solutions guided by their best interests. Understanding that plumbing issues, especially unexpected emergencies, can be stressful for homeowners and their families, Michael approaches each situation with empathy and a calm, steady presence, working deliberately to contain the issue quickly and resolve it effectively.

Michael is a devoted husband to his wife, Kayla, and a proud father of two wonderful children. He and his family share a love for the outdoors and are loyal fans of the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
